A different selection of the finest short films, music videos and short animations from around the globe are screened each week, from established directors to film makers completely undiscovered. The aim is to celebrate film and take audiences on a journey: creatively, personally and emotionally.

Short & Sweet launches at Klein Libertas on Tuesday, 25 September 2012 and will run every Tuesday night for 6 weeks.

It gives us great pleasure to usher in the second installment of Cape Town’s favourite short film fandango. Short & Sweet is back with an all new showcase of some of the world’s finest short films, animations and music videos. This season takes root in the vintage Wunderbar Theatre and will feature an original spread of 8-10 cinematic hors d’oeuvres per night, served every Tuesday evening over a 6 week period.

Join us for the premiere on Tuesday the 31st of July 2012.

Arrive early to enjoy two fully stocked bars, tasty morsels for sale, and free popcorn for the first 100 patrons. In the interests of comfort and peace of mind, ample seating and parking has been provided for.

Short & Sweet is coming to New York City in February 2012 for a 5 week special!
We are looking for the most creative short films, music videos and short animations from NY-based filmmakers: no longer than 15 minutes.
Please e-mail links to submit@shortandsweet.tv. If your film is chosen, we will need a short biography as we like to promote the directors before we screen their films AND you will need to upload a high res version to our ftp.
If you are in the country we would love you to introduce your film on the night!
