Short & Sweet is coming to New York City in February 2012 for a 5 week special!
We are looking for the most creative short films, music videos and short animations from NY-based filmmakers: no longer than 15 minutes.
Please e-mail links to submit@shortandsweet.tv. If your film is chosen, we will need a short biography as we like to promote the directors before we screen their films AND you will need to upload a high res version to our ftp.
If you are in the country we would love you to introduce your film on the night!

A reminder that we are stepping aside from our regular screening this Monday at No One Writes to the Colonel for the drop of Spacing Magazine’s 22nd issue. We will be back Monday October 31st with our spooky and strange Halloween special.

Short & Sweet is very excited to spread the short film love to South Africa in association with Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky. We will be hosting an exclusive 5 week winter special in Cape Town at the Dream Factory in Town, 10 Orphan street (located between Bree and Loop).

Launch: Tuesday, 28 June and EVERY Tuesday in July!

Time: Doors open at 18h00, films start at 19h30, venue closes at 23h00

Short & Sweet has been invited to host an evening of our usual selection of short films, music videos and short animations as part of Cannt – a series of events for those in London who can’t be at the Cannes advertising festival this year. Join us at The Book Club (100 Leonard Street, EC2A 4RH) on Thursday, June 23rd at 8pm, for two hours of exciting short films.

Short & Sweet’s dream has been to spread the love and power of short film to all parts of the world. We are proud to announce that after 5 years in London, we are launching an additional night in Toronto, Canada headed up by Jordan.

Come to our launch on Monday, March 7th at No One Writes to the Colonel (460 College Street). Films start at 7:30.

We are very excited to build a community in Canada–short film is universal and we are hungry to share some amazing films with this new audience!
